RETRACTED: DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF CLOSED CITIES IN THE ARCTIC

Abstract

Retracted articleThe paper estimates the ongoing changes in the Russian closed administrative territorial entities’ functioning under the infl uence of external factors that are expressed in the current aggravation of the international situation, and internal – long-term buildup of strategic military capabilities and strengthening of the role of defensive sector in the economy of Russia. The problem of harmonization of national security and socio-economic development priorities of the closed cities of the Russian Arctic is considered.
