This work aims to present the results of the Visual Arts & Inclusion research project developed by the Research Group on Art, Museums and Inclusion (GPAMI/UFPB/CNPq), during the course Teaching Arts and Inclusive Education, of the UFPB Visual Arts Degree in 2016. In Brazil it is still rare to use adequate resources and technologies to adapt the collections and temporary exhibitions, following the experiences of large national and international institutions, and in compliance with the Brazilian Inclusion Law. These features present a high cost of production and are most often done on a small scale, which makes the process expensive and time consuming. We start from the problem: how to use low cost technologies to make accessibility to the works of art of the Pinacoteca UFPB collection possible? We experiment, select and discard various materials and produce tactile models of works of art of very low cost and high resistance, exhibited in the UFPB and the IFPB.
