This paper summarized the nursing management of a patient with thecal cyst in tendon of wrist treated by acupuncture combined with TDP lamp irradiation. On the basis of nursing interventions for acupuncture and TDP lamp irradiation, preventive measures and emotion care were carried out. Acupuncture combined with TDP lamp irradiation is effective in the relief of discomfort caused by thecal cyst in tendon of wrist, and improve the recovery of wrist function.
