Abstract

The 3-D models of various kinds of cylindrical gears are generated through simulation of rack cutter gear shaping in the light of the principle of cutting gears with the generation method by using AutoLISP language program.The program that takes various conditions into consideration can generate various kinds of cylindrical gears.The gear models and real gears are identical in shape and size and the preciseness of the models can be verified by means of measuring some items.
