Enteroviruses are widespread everywhere and present a serious problem for public health. Purpose: to study the epidemic process of enteroviral non-poliomyelitis infections in Ukraine. Material and methods: the official reports of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on the isolation of enteroviruses from healthy and sick persons as well as environmental objects were studied. The detection of enteroviruses RNA was performed using the PCR method. Results: the epidemic process of non-poliomyelitis enterovirus infections is characterized by varying intensity in long-term and annual dynamics, expressed territorial unevenness, a general trend towards the decrease in the frequency of enterovirus isolation against the background of increasing incidence of enteroviral meningitis. In the strain structure, Coxsackie B and ECHO viruses predominate. Conclusions: it is necessary to improve the epidemiological control of enterovirus infections by optimizing the structure and scope of research.
