The article describes the author’s method of assessment of the level of competition among fitness clubs on the local market in conditions of limited information about the economic performance of competitors. Reveals the mechanism of defining the boundaries of the local market of the fitness club and determine its capacity and structure. Shows the author’s view of possible variants of structure of fitness clubs’ market. Presents the coefficients for calculation the limit value of customers of fitness clubs for different price market segments. The possibility of applying the proposed methodology is illustrated by the example of the fitness club. Demonstrates the necessity of the described methodology for developing the ways ofincreasing the competitiveness offitness clubs based on price and non-price methods.
