A Tiny Plot of Land Under a Little Piece of Sky

Abstract

This speech was delivered by the Augustinan nuns of the monastery of Santi Quattro Coronati in Rome, during the days of the summer school in Lucca. They defined the key places of monastic life which can be found in every monastery. Before being defined as a cultural and religious heritage, a monastery is first of all the home of those who inhabit it and it has its own traditions and peculiarities.
