Development Trend of Air-to-Air Missile Micro Miniaturization

Abstract

At present, the development of small/micro missiles in the world is characterized by diversified systems, multi-purpose operations and distributed functions, which mainly depends on the rapid development of related technologies. Due to the strong constraints of the platform, air-to-air missiles have special requirements for volume, weight and other aspects of micro miniaturization. The military power represented by the United States is intensively carrying out related project research work, which has broad application prospects in future operations. Based on the analysis of the types and key technologies of small/micro missiles at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the characteristics of small/micro missiles, and puts forward suggestions on the development and application of small/micro air-to-air missiles.
