La place controversée de la théorie des émotions dans l'histoire de la critique littéraire française

Abstract

Redeploying critical theory on emotions allows rethinking literary history around new issues and methods. It is this path that we would follow in this paper by focusing on the controversial role of emotions in the critical discourse from the French Romanticism, whose doctrine is based on the idea a personal relationship to art, to modern Literary Theory and its disdain for psychologizing approaches.
