Scientific cooperation in international scope has been significantly intensified in recent years, as it strengthens the courses of graduation and graduate programs, corroborates to increase the number and quality of research, assists in granting scholarships and enables resource sharing, among others. So, given the importance of this theme, this study has the following objective: to examine how it has developed international scientific cooperation of the members of research groups in the Executive Secretariat in Brazil. To this end, a study of quantitative and qualitative nature was developed, from the descriptive method. The data used have secondary origin because they were obtained on the basis of consultation with the Lattes curriculum of all members of research groups of the Executive Secretariat area, from search by the following terms: Secretariat; Secretariat executive and secretarial. The main results show that all groups to a greater or lesser number have presented scientific productions of this nature. Among the types of production, the groups present greater international collaboration in the indicator "publications" and with countries, Portugal and Argentina, respectively.
