Independence of Administrative Judges
Abstract
The status of administrative judges in Europe is rarely included in comparative studies even though it can be an indication of the level of court impartiality. The statuses of judges are very close if not identical. The similarity rests on tautology and was not the only one in France up to 1870. Judges of administration are administrative judges regardless of their proper name with consequences which include, generally regarding the existence of their status, guaranteeing their impartiality,
