Abstract

The aim of the article is an attempt to refer to the role of education for security in the process of patriotic education. Nowadays, both in Poland and in the world, there is a tendency to more and more often refer to patriotic symbols and shape patriotic identity. It is therefore worth looking at how patriotic education is shaped today from the perspective of security pedagogy and education for security. How is patriotism defined?
