PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN SMART BOX UNTUK ANAK TUNA GRAHITA

Abstrak: Media pembelajaran yang mampu menunjang pembelajaran bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah masih sangat kurang. penelitian ini dengan tujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus berupa media Smart Box dan mengetahui kelayakannya agar dapat digunakan oleh anak berkebutuhan khusus terutama anak yang masuk kategori tuna grahita dalam belajar materi Bahasa Indonesia dan IPA dengan lebih efektif dan menarik. Metode penelitian yang dipilih adalah pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementasi, Evaluasi dengan jenis penelitian research & development (RnD) dengan instrument penelitian lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar angket ahli media dan materi, dan angket kuisioner untuk siswa. Hasil uji validitas ahli media menunjukan presentase sebesar 83% dengan kategori sangat layak dan validitas ahli materi dengan presentase sebesar 79% dengan kategori layak. Daya tarik media dapat dilihat dari angket uji coba yang di jawab oleh siswa dengan hasil presentase sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat layak. Keefektifan media dalam menunjang pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata pretest sebesar 58 setelah menggunakan media didapat hasil posttest sebesar 86. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media smart box dikatakan layak, menarik dan efektif digunakan oleh siswa tuna grahita. Abstract: There is still a lack of learning media that is able to support learning for children with special needs at school. Therefore, this research was carried out with the aim of producing learning media for children with special needs in the form of Smart Box media and knowing its feasibility so that it can be used by children with special needs, especially children who fall into the mentally retarded category in learning Indonesian language and science material more effectively and attractively. The type of research used is development using the ADDIE model with five stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation with research & development (RnD) types with observation sheet research instruments, interview sheets, media and material expert questionnaire sheets, and questionnaire questionnaires for students. The results of the media expert validity test showed a percentage of 83% in the very feasible category and the validity of the material expert with a percentage of 79% in the feasible category. The effectiveness and attractiveness of the media can be seen from the trial questionnaire which was answered by students with a percentage of 88% in the very decent category. The effectiveness of the media in supporting learning can be seen from the pretest results of 64% after using the media the posttest results obtained by 87%. It can be concluded that smart box media is said to be feasible, interesting and effective for use by students with intellectual disabilities.
