Türkiye’de Sağlık Harcamaları, Sağlık Harcamalarının Nisbi Fiyatı ve Ekonomik Büyüme Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi(An Investigation of The Relationship among Health Expenditures, Relative Price of Health Expenditures and Economic Growth in Turkey)

Abstract

In this study, it is tried to investigate the relationship between health expenditures, relative price of health expenditures and economic growth by using cointegration analysis and vector error correction model. The data set covers the period from January, 2004 to March, 2013. The empirical results of the study show that there is a significant relationship among health expenditures, relative price of central government budget health expenditures and economic growth in the long run, while there is no relationship in the short run.
