A NEW EXPERIENCE: STUDYING AND MAKING THE TRADITIONAL HAT DURING TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION LESSONS

Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the research on the traditional yearling hat, which has an important place in the folk costume of the Republic of Moldova and Romania, being part in the scenic contemporary and everyday clothing. There were presented the literature sources in the area of traditional costume and the fields in which this item was a rich source of inspiration. The article emphasizes the experience of the technological education lessons devoted to the traditional hat, the peculiarities of this craftwork, consequently being highlighted the role of traditional art and cultural heritage in the education of the younger generations in the conditions of globalization and preservation tendencies of the national identity.
