Pan American Day of Rheumatology: Patient-Centered Research
Abstract
May 31 marks Pan American Rheumatology Day. Global Conversations, a podcast, and videocast where we will talk about patient-centered research. It is clear that the pandemic changed the dynamics of care and, of course, of research. This led to promoting the development of projects that would allow phenomena to be evaluated remotely through the use of information technology, surveys, and other options. This is the theme of our Global Conversations. In this conversation, along with Carlo Vinicio Caballero, editor-in-chief of Global Rheumatology, and Diego Jaimes, will be: Miguel Albanese, PANLAR president-elect; Daniel Fernández, director of the PANLAR Research Unit; Rodrigo García Salinas, representing the PANLAR study groups; and Gina Ochoa, president of the V Pan American Congress of Patients, representing the patients.
