Specific features of East Asian management relevant for increasing economic efficiency and competitiveness

This paper analyzes specific features of East Asian management in the context of the comparative management from the international economics peraspective. In fact, the paper deals with the significance of certain approaches and methods as a result of creativity and originality in East Asian management, that have impact on increased economic efficiency and competitiveness in the global framework. Influences of culture, religion and philosophy on managerial decision making are researched. Implications of these specific features for business and economic growth are analyzed based on relationship between changes on both microeconomic and macroeconomic level. The importance of strategic approach and achievement of strategic goals is highlighted. The variety of business systems in Eastern Asia, their continuity and changes, along with acknowledgment of special features of Chinese, Japanese and Korean management are presented.
