USO DE INDICADORES VERDES PARA EVALUAR CUÁN LIMPIO ES UN PROCESO EN SU SÍNTESIS TRADICIONAL VS LA SÍNTESIS TRIBOQUÍMICA Y EN MICROESCALA
Abstract
The environmental problem due to unsustainable development leads teachers to educate in developing sustainability and to prepare professionals involved with the environment and society. The literature reports a useful tool for this purpose, uses the principles of green chemistry, which apply to a process, gives category of how green this is. This paper analyzes a classic organic chemistry, the Cannizzaro reaction: in A) the traditional process and in B) tribochemically, in microscale and with a green analytical chemistry. The evaluation was made with the sum of numerical categories from green principles of each step of the flowchart, between the number of principles discussed, with the result that the process A) is in a category of transition gray to green and tribochemical process B) is in a category of a large green approach.
