Abstract

In a legal and social context that particularly appears hostile to gay lifes, during this moment which runs from the immediate post-war period to the end of the 1960 s, this article based on rich individual nominative files produced by Éducation surveillée (Ministry of Justice) is interested in the care of young gays by the Juvenile Justice system, as well as in popular Parisian young gay practices and sociabilities (self-definition and public self-affirmation, romantic and sexual relationships).
