The new government of Spain: promises and opportunities

Abstract

The article considers the situation in the sphere of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict in the context of the Normandy ministerial meeting on June 11, 2018 in Berlin. Particular attention is paid to the apparent negotiation architecture dilemma, when the «Normandy» agreements are not implemented within the framework of the Contact Group for Peaceful Settlement in Ukraine. This dilemma is aggravated by Ukraine’s entering into new electoral phase – of the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2019. The prospects of the Minsk process are analyzed both in view of the changed political conjuncture, and the specific agenda and decisions of the N-4 Berlin meeting
