Purpose. The following article is based on the analysis of a remote-only teaching environment. It highlights the main problems with teaching humanities under these circumstances, considering the specifics of human sciences. Right now modern education is preparing for significant changes which makes this study relevant. Methodology. Author uses traditional analysis of scientific literature and case-study analysis of a specific situation, which appears in circumstances of a forced remote-only environment. Results. The need to eliminate the idea of a total shift to remote-only education system within humanities. Considering a possibility of using teaching methods involving modern technology without compromising the development of students’ creative thinking and its emotional and sensual components. Practical implication. The study’s results will be useful for educational philosophy specialists and educational processes management professionals, which are directly involved in the development of today’s education reforming strategy.
