Abstract
This article examines Italian food supply policies towards populations in the annexed as well as occupied parts of the Independent State of Croatia within the context of Fascist imperialism. Italian authorities used food supply for several goals: to win their political struggle against its nominal ally, the Ustasha; to promote Fascism as the choice for the future to the population and to combat insurgency.
