UMA ABORDAGEM SEMI-AUTOMÁTICA PARA EXTRAÇÃO DE FEIÇÕES CARTOGRÁFICAS

Abstract

This work presents the study and implementation of a semiautomatic approach for feature extraction that represent areas, from digital images. The tests were made by a prototype that was implemented in the C++ Builder Programming Environment. This prototype offers a group of tools, based on techniques of digital image processing. The pratical results obtained, through sundries combination of processing, are presented and discussed, showing that the semiautomatic approach is viable and robust.
