ANALISIS KANDUNGAN FLAVONOID DAN AKTIVITAS ANTIHIPERURISEMIA EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN SIRSAK (Anona muricata L.) PADA MENCIT JANTAN SECARA IN VIVO
Abstract
This study was conducted to measure the flavonoid content and to test the antihyperuricemia activity against white male mice Balb-C from the ethanol extract of soursop leaf from Banjar district, South Kalimantan. The measurement of flavonoids in extract was determined by the standard of quercetin by UV-Visible spectrophotometric method. Antihyperuricemia activity test was done by cow liver induction, positive control using allopurinol and determined by uric acid level reduction using strip reagent. The relationship between flavonoid content were y = 0,02288x + 0,0209, R = 0,99493 and content 2,31 ± 0,144 g quercetin/100 g sample. Antihiperurisemia activity showed that the ethanol extract of soursop leaf dose 100, 200 and 400 mg/kg BB had effect of significant decrease in sequence that was 2,03±0,635; 2,07±0,379; 2,23±0,404. Correlation of the results of the measurement of flavonoids and test animals from the ethanol extract of soursop leaves was that 100 mg extract contained 23,1 mg equivalent quercetin and able to decrease uric acid level as much as 2.03 mg/dL in animal dose 100mg/kg BB.
