UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE A PRODUÇÃO ACADÊMICA DOS DOCENTES DAS UNIVERSIDADES ESTADUAIS PARANAENSES DE 2008 A 2012
Abstract
This study aimed to verify the production of qualified academic lecturers in Accounting from Paraná state universities in the period 2008 to 2012 The focus of the research were the professors who have master or doctor, since, under the law the scientific production is not a priority allocation of specialist professors. After the initial survey, the sample studied was 76 professors. The methodology used was document analysis, using as the main source documents from the curricula registered in the CNPq Lattes platform. After the collection and analysis of data, we reached the following conclusions: most masters or doctors, between the years 2008 to 2012, have few journal articles referenced by Qualis, with 35.45% of the sample produced no article. According to Barth, Ensslin and Reina (2012), the titration process as master and doctor does not have as main objective the entry into teaching, but the improvement in training. However, according to respondents, masters and doctors of state universities surveyed showed no improvement in their training, when analyzed from the perspective of scientific research. Based on survey data, it is concluded that, for most of them, the profile of researcher was not provided.
