PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK ETANOL DAUN GAHARU (Aquilaria Microcarpa Baill.) TERHADAP WAKTU PERDARAHAN PADA TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR WISTAR

Abstract

Gaharu leaves (Aquilaria microcarpa Baill.) contains of flavonoid compound and tanin which is potentially could heal the wounds. The objective of this research is to prove the effect of ethanol extract of A. microcarpa to bleeding time to the male rat of wistar strain which have been induced with heparin. Twenty rat strains wistar are divided into 5 groups. Group I (negative control), II (positive control), III, IV, V (ethanol extract of A. microcarpa leaves dosage 75mg/KgBB, 100mg/KgBB and 150mg/KgBB respectively). The subject is given the heparin injection for 5 days, then given the preparat for 6 days and bleeding time are recorded within 2 days. The research result shows the of bleeding time deflation 41.74%; 74.74%; 52.09%; 95.86%; 24.36. The statistic result shows that there is a significant difference of the decrease percentage of bleeding, Oherefore, it can be concluded that the ethanol extract of A. microcarpa leaves bleeding time possesses of activity in decreasing of induced with heparin.
