Abstract

The article describes the structure of Italian Guardia di Finanza and its tasks. In particular, this police force fights against economic and organized crime through specific investigation methods which are described in the text.Then, the author examines the “Molecola Project”, carried out in cooperation with the Italian Anti-Mafia Division, which consists of an operative software aimed at supporting economic and capital investigations of a high number of person involved in organized crime.
