Co‐infection of coronavirus disease 19 and cytomegalovirus in a kidney transplant recipient

Abstract

Abstract It has been suggested that severe SARS‐CoV‐2 infection could be a risk factor for Herpesviridae reactivation due to the state of sepsis‐associated immunosuppression. We presented the case of co‐infection of CMV and COVID‐19 infection in a 43‐year‐old woman with end‐stage renal disease.
