Tourism Logistics Management for Kok Raet, Surat Thani Province

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to. - (1) study tourists’ tourism behaviours. (2) investigate the level of opinions on tourism logistics management, and (3) examine the influence of the tourism logistics management as well as tourism experiences towards tourists’ satisfaction. The sample group consisted of 400 tourists who had visited Koh Raet community, Surat Thani Province. The data collecting tool was a questionnaire while the statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the main objectives of touring around Koh Raet were relaxation, sightseeing, dining and photography. The visitors mostly travelled with families. As for the level of opinions on tourism logistics management, most respondents respectively focused on financial flow, physical flow and Information flow and the management was at a high level. The hypothesis test results also revealed that the management, financial flow and Information flow had an effect on tourists’ satisfaction whereas the tourism experiences simultaneously affected their satisfaction at a statistically significant level of 0.05.
