Comment les crises économiques modifient-elles le tourisme ?
Abstract
Tourism seems to evolve within a specific temporality. The scientific study of tourism has analysed economic crises only to the extent to their economical consequences. However, the consequences of crises have not only economical dimensions (wealth, profit), but also social dimensions, such as the transformation of tourist consumption, the structure of accomodation and the professionalisation of the tourist sector. Moreover, each crisis triggers in fact the transformation of tourist practices. The crises’ solutions are diverse, following the maturity of the tourist sector and the importance of the seaside activity within the seaside resorts.
