The first record of Carphacis Gozis (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) in Korea

Abstract

The genus Carphacis Gozis is reported for the first time in the Korean Peninsula. Two species are recognized [C. crassicornis (Coiffait) and C. gigas Schülke]. Diagnoses, a key, and illustrations of habitus and diagnostic characters are provided to facilitate identification.
