EXCERPTA DI PARRASIO DA EPISTOLE DI PIER CANDIDO DECEMBRIO NEL MANOSCRITTO XIII. B. 19 DELLA BIBLIOTECA NAZIONALE DI NAPOLI

Abstract

Sono pubblicati gli excerpta contenuti nelle carte finali del ms. XIII. B. 19 della Biblioteca Nazionale di Napoli (a. 1509): gli estratti, autografi di Aulo Giano Parrasio, non sono prelievi da Plutarco, come si credeva, ma passi estrapolati da alcune lettere di Pier Candido Decembrio relativi a questioni esegetiche, in particolar modo sulle biografie plutarchee. In this paper are published the excerpta contained in the final part of ms. Neap. XIII. B. 19 (1509): the excerpts, autographs of Aulus Ianus Parrhasius, are not taken from Plutarch, as believed up to now, but from letters of Petrus Candidus Decembrius, concerning exegetical problems, especially about Plutarchʼs Lives.
