Effect of care bundles on the prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis in the elderly (集束化护理预防老年失禁相关性皮炎效果观察)

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of care bundles on the prevention of incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD)in the elderly. Methods Eighty critically ill elderly patients with diarrhea admitted to the Intensive Care Unit were selected and randomly divided into control group and study group, with 40 cases in each group. During the treatment, the control group received routine nursing, while the study group received care bundles. The incidence of IADs was compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of IAD in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0. 05). Conclusion Application of care bundles is potentially effectively to reduce the risk of IAD in elderly diarrhea patients and alleviate the pain of patients. (目的 探讨集束化护理预防老年失禁相关性皮炎的效果。方法 选取医院监护室收治的老年危重症并发腹泻的患者80例, 随机分为对照组和研究组, 各40例。治疗期间, 对照组给予常规护理, 研究组实施集束化护理, 对比两组失禁相关性皮炎的发生率。结果 研究组失禁相关性皮炎的发生率低于对照组, 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。结论 采用集束化护理可以有效降低老年腹泻患者失禁相关性皮炎的发生风险, 增强患者的舒适感。)
