The present paper aims to determine the antimicrobial and antifungal activity of the pasture, in order to obtain pharmaceutical forms with therapeutic applicability. We determined the pH, solubility, we identified in the composition of the feed calcium, magnesium, iron and vitamin C. We also highlighted the antimicrobial and antifungal activity of various pharmaceutical forms with feed, in different concentrations, on bacterial and fungal strains of reference and isolated from patients. The novelty of the study consists in determining some parameters, chemical, microbiological, for the first time on the pasture. We found that the best antimicrobial activity on Gram negative bacteria was presented by glycerin solutions in 20%, 40% and 10% with anesthesine. The weakest antimicrobial activity had 70 ° alcohol for E. coli strain ATCC25922 (diameter of the inhibition zone 7mm). All pasture solutions in glycerin of 10%, 20% and 40% concentration showed a good antibacterial activity on the E. coli strain ATCC25922, observing that the antibacterial activity increases in direct proportion to the glycerin concentration. On Gram-positive bacteria, pasture solutions prepared with different solvents had zero antibacterial activity on Streptococcus pyogenes ATCC19615 and Streptococcus pneumoniae ATCC49616 strains. The use of pasture in concentrated alcoholic solutions does not increase the diameter of the inhibition in the case of Gram-positive bacteria tested in this study. The best antifungal activity on Candida albicans ATCC90028 was found in the case of raw pasture, undissolved in any solvent. The weakest antifungal activity was presented by the aqueous solution of filtered pasture (diameter of the inhibition zone 6mm).
