N-DIAMOND: BOND MECHANICS

Abstract

Results of the synthesis of N-diamond in experiments with cavitation in carbon containing liquids are presented. A mechanical model of the chemical bonds between carbon atoms in the diamond with the availability of a stable FCC crystal lattice structure is developed.
