In this essay, I present a discussion related to the rhetorical practices potential to expose the immoral order sustained by a gendered culture. In this case, I explain the social impact produced by the official rhetorical practices of silencing through re-victimization during de public exposure of the femicides in Ciudad Juárez, México (1998-2002). Also, I describe how these the official practice of silencing generated an emotional pathetic space, as the outcome of the evident immorality of those who had the legal and moral responsibility to seek justice.
