Darwin, planet Earth, the other lands and science teachers

Abstract

Celebrations offer occasions for inspiring didactics. 2009 has seen the ones for Darwin and Galileo, and 2008 was declared the International Year of Planet Earth. Though apparently disparate, those three events share a common purpose, useful for an in-depth reflection on Science teaching at pre-college level.
