Innovativeness – the Immanent Feature of the Teachers’ Professionalism
Abstract
Innovativeness of a teacher is an important issue for didactic and pedeutological reflection. It can be thought of as a property of a teacher’s professionalism available only to a few. You can also think of it as a feature intrinsically related to this occupation. The latter line of reasoning is justified by the constitutive properties of the education process, which consists of interactivity and contextualizing. These traits, together with the assumption of innovation gradeability, construe the basis for the formulation of the hypothesis that innovativeness is to an equal extent the area of professional authority and of the teacher’s duties.
