The current study aims to identify frontal and executive performance differences between a clinical group and a control group. Both included children and adolescents with ages ranging from 7 to 12 years old. The first group was engaged in a process of rights restoring by the Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar (ICBF) in Clínica del Oriente, while the other group lived with their biological families. In total, 40 children were evaluated -20 for each group already mentioned-. For doing so, the Kauffman Brief Intelligence Test and the Neuropsychological Battery of Executive Functions and Frontal Lobes (BANFE) were applied. Results show differences between both groups in the functions of planning, rules following, mental flexibility and working memory
