Abstract

This essay presents the creation and restructuring of the Biosafety Internal Commission of Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (CIBIO / IOC), the experience in implementing a biosafety management, highlighting a model chosen according to the Commitment Network. Emphasizing three macro-focus undertaken by the Commission as main and continues projects in the Institution - the appropriate laboratorial structure, purchasing protection equipment and professional staff training - aiming to establish and maintain work quality in laboratory facilities.
