Hipertextualitat artístico-poètica: la Venus de Josep Palau i Fabre i la immortalitat de la tradició cultural

Abstract

In this article, we will analyze the poem of Josep Palau i Fabre «La naixença de Venus. Botticelli» which will be a way to approach the alchemy poetry conception of our author. We will show how we are dealing with an act of vernacularization of art through poetry and hypertextuality, in which there is a series of correspondences of form and background between the pictorial hypotext and the poetic hypertext. In addition, this process that Fabre makes participates in the eternalization of the cultural tradition and allows combating, with a call for love, the silence and anger that characterizes the period in which the poem was written, the Spanish Civil War.
