MODEL OF ORIENTING HIGHER SCHOOL STUDENTS AT FORMING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Abstract

The high socio-economic importance of health and healthy lifestyle proves the topic of this research to be topical. The article determines the concepts of "health" and "healthy lifestyle" within modern science. Survey materials revealing students’ awareness of healthy living and its organization at the university are presented. The authors focus on the characteristics of the model of orienting students at promoting a healthy lifestyle, which has been developed and tested. The results suggest further opportunities to explore similar themes in other regions.
