Populismo e neoliberismo

Abstract

What is the relationship between populism and neo-liberalism? The press and most analysts argue there is a substantial incompatibility between the two ideological currents. The essay wished to show, on the contrary, that there is a continuity relationship between them and that to fully understand the novelty of today’s populism with respect to the past experiences of the past century (especially Russian and American populism) it has to be analyzed by capturing the affinities between them.
