This paper analyzes the use of blogs and microblogs as a tool to support Library Science teaching and information dissemination towards students and librarians, considering the benefits of these resources in higher education and demands for interaction and information sharing. It shows three blogs on indexing language construction, documentary linguistics and indexing, and a microblog on indexing and indexing language, social media in topics of courses in Knowledge Organization field. It was considered the premise that native digital students have an easier learning due to the use of the sharing environments they are used to. It is presented bibliographic research, access to these social media, including the definition of content guidelines and thematic analysis of the shares. Research in the literature on the use of these tools in higher education sought to identify ways to improve the students' experience and to offer subsidies to increase students’ participation.
