Um rio são muitos: de aventura e antropologia Rio São Francisco

Abstract

Este artigo tenta trazer a noção de aventura de volta ao campo da antropologia por meio da análise de cinco narrativas sobre o Rio São Francisco - Burton, Pierson, Cavalcanti, Cappio e Tarsia (e companhia). Tenta-se entender como a mimesis e a sedução ligam esses atores ao rio e ao leitor, de tal maneira que, ao mesmo tempo em que os autores constroem-se nas narrativas, eles - narradores e rio - hermeneuticamente jogam suas redes sobre o leitor.This article tries to bring back the notion of adventure to the anthropological field, through the analyses of five narratives about the São Francisco river - Burton, Pierson, Cavalcanti, Cappio and Tarsia (& partners) The article seeks to understand how mimesis and seduction join these actors to the river and to the reader, in such a way that, at the same time the authors construct themselves in the narrative, hermeneuticly they - storytellers and river - cast their nets over the reader.
