William Heberden: a historical legacy for rheumatology

Abstract

Interviews with history are biographical pieces of characters that have become the backbone of Rheumatology. They are based on texts written by Dr. Antonio Iglesias, prepared by our journalist Estefanía Fajardo de la Espriella in the form of fictitious interviews that can provide us with a contemporary view of the people and their contributions, and edited by Dr. Carlo Vinicio Caballero. In a new Interview with history, we land in the 18th century and the contributions of Heberden that to this day remain essential pieces in the study of medicine and especially rheumatology
