Conversion UTM coordinates between adjacent zones

Abstract

This paper describes procedures for conversion UTM coordinates from one to another UTM zone, next to it (eastern or western). The procedure is based on the conversion of the rectangular coordinates of the given point into geographical ones, and then their conversion into also rectangular coordinates, but now in the desired (adjacent) zone.
