PECULIARITIES OF IMPLEMENTING DEFERMENT OF PUNISHMENT BY THE COURT BY ARTICLE 82 OF THE RUSSIAN CRIMINAL CODE

Abstract

The article touches upon the issues connected with deferment of punishment. Suggestions are grounded for improving the Russian Criminal-executing and Criminal Code norms, as well as normative-legal acts referring to the issues of punishment deferment. It is proposed to adjust Section VIII of the Ministry of Justice Order of 20 May 2009 # 142, Clauses 25 and 26 of the Decree of the Russian Supreme Court Plenum of 21April 2009 # 8 to the Federal law of 21 February 2010 № 16-ФЗ.
