Abstract

O texto analisa e reproduz algumas idéias de Norbert Elias contidas na obra La Sociedad Cortesana. Sendo a primeira obra de Elias, La Sociedad Cortesana apresenta e esmiuça alguns conceitos que posteriormente o autor retoma em vários outros trabalhos. As relações sociais entre os membros da corte de Luís XIV são o principal material de análise para esse autor que busca incansavelmente compatibilizar ciência e empirismo.
