The paper considers various aspects of sociocultural and political transformation of the Russian population of the Republic of Kazakhstan during the Post-Soviet period, the reasons of these changes and their result, and also the Russian Federation’s attitude to these processes, certain conclusions are drawn and the situation in the near future is simulated
